TIME SAVINGS

The standard PDQ system takes up to 60 seconds per transaction. The new integrated chip & pin system takes an average of 5 seconds, giving the user an average time saving of 55 seconds per transaction.

If a business carries out 100 card transactions per day @ 55 seconds each, this would lead to a total saving of 1 hour 32 minutes per day in dial-out charges. 

If you multiply this 1 hour 32 minute time saving by the standard BT business rate of 3p per minute, the total cost savings are as
